The Calgary Zoo and Executive Suites by Roseman
What a relationship! The zoo is about a 5 minute’s drive or a 20 minute walk away. From your comfortable Executive Suites Calgary at Executive Suites by Roseman, take a lovely trip along either side of Memorial Drive toward the Calgary Zoo, cross over the bridge to St. Patrick’s Island (the zoo island) and enjoy.
The zoo is a thoughtfully wrought display of the creatures of the world. From your short term rental in Calgary you can travel the world. At Destination Africa you find the Transalta Rainforest and the African Savannah. You may be so tired by this point you want to return to your Calgary executive rental.
But no! You press on to the Eurasian exhibits including the Elephant Crossing or the Australian Exhibit. And when need a quiet reflective place and you want all the sounds to go away and you can still stay away from your furnished for rent in Calgary, then you crawl over to the Botanical Gardens which have as much diversity in their environments as the animals do in theirs.
The specialty gardens included in the Dorothy Harvie Gardens are the shade garden, the woodland garden, the water conservation garden, the sensory garden, alpine garden, water garden and habitat garden.
Finally, after a long day at the zoo, if you have more energy, see the Canadian Wilds Exhibit or the Cequel Energy Lodge and the South American Exhibit and the Primate Centre.
After a day in the wild, return to your corporate suites Calgary at Executive Suites by Roseman and sink into our comfy couch and dream off to wild African safaris. |

The Rocky Mountains from Executive Suites by Roseman |

The Rocky Mountains from Executive Suites Calgary by Roseman
The Rocky Mountains are Calgary’s outdoor playground. They are just an hour’s drive west of the central location of our Calgary executive suites. Before you get to the mountains you drive through the rolling foothills. On both sides of the highway you can see rolling fields, pastures and little gems of a view of the countryside. Framing that beautiful vision is the backdrop of the Rockies.
Local slang calls them the Rockpile. When you see them you understand why. Immense, seasonally green or snow covered, they are awe inspiring. Their size inspires human feelings which are not usual in the city, where life is more human sized. You will carry back to your Calgary executive rentals the most wonderful sensations of having been close to natural greatness.
Continuing your drive west into the mountains, you become dwarfed by their size. The bulk of the mountains changes the two dimensional landscape of the prairies into surprising three dimensions. Suddenly the prairies’ endless views come to a halt at the surface of ancient titans. The furnished for rent suites that give you shelter are the most valuable place to stop and recollect your adventure of the day.
Short term rentals in Calgary by Executive Suites by Roseman are the perfect place to create a base for work and for a little recreation. One of the best ways to step out in Calgary is get in the car and drive west. After you enter the mountains you will begin to see the alternating peaks and valleys as you cross the great barrier that is the Rocky Mountains. David Thompson, the first European explorer to cross in 1811, would have loved to rest in our furnished for rent in Calgary apartments before he launched his amazing crossing of the Rockies.
Furnished apartments for rent are the way to go in Calgary and Winnipeg. Your western Canadian heirs of the adventuresome spirit know how to travel and how to live. When you are away from your home base, stay with Executive Suites by Roseman, the unhotel, focused on your comfort and your feelings of satisfaction.

Winnipeg Winter: Frozen Fun on the Assiniboine with Executive Suites by Roseman
Just a few blocks drive from Executive Suites by Roseman in Winnipeg is the winding beautifully flowing Assiniboine River. In the coldest days of winter usually beginning in January, all that comes to a halt as the river freezes over. The river then becomes western Canada’s biggest skating rink and beside it runs a walking path and cross country ski trail.
Roseman’s Winnipeg furnished suites are cozy in the winter. Still, hardy westerners and guests step out, covered over every last square inch of skin surface, and use the crystalline outdoors. When you go down to the landing to enter the river walk, you step on to a magic world within the city. The ice level of the river is below the banks. All is quiet as the world goes on without you. You skate, ski or walk down the river to the Forks, where the Assiniboine River meets the Red River.
Perhaps not quite as cozy as our Winnipeg corporate suites, the warming cabins along the way provide a place to sit and rest before pressing on. You can turn back to your car or keep going to the Forks. There you will find the hot chocolate and other warming beverages, the entertainment, food and fun that give a wonderful reward at the end of a fresh air adventure.
Then taxi back to your car, or arrange to be met, and come home to your comfortable, homey fully designed home away from home in Winnipeg. There is a reason we are called an unhotel. We are as welcoming and warm as your home. Try us out. You will never stay anywhere else in Winnipeg or Calgary. Executive Suites by Roseman, offering you the best of hospitality. |
