If one of your goals for 2015 is to get more organized, you might want to let your smart phone do some of the work for you. Here are some fantastic travel apps to help you sort your on-the-road life out:

Skyscanner is a free app that finds you the absolute best flight combos to get where you need to go, for the best prices. This travel app has consistently found me better deals than other travel deal sites and apps over the past 12 months.

Wi-Fi Finder is another freebie that tells you where the nearest sources of free wi-fi are, saving you roaming fees and offering great spots for getting a bit of work done while in a new-to-you city. This is a really neat app, and one you’re bound to refer to often.

Gate Guru is a clever free app that gives you up to date info on the gate you’re flying from, or hanging out at for the next few hours. As well as telling you about gate changes and delays, it also feeds you reviews of the nearest restaurants and stores.

Google Translate is a site I’ve used for years to help me understand foreign websites and the occasion email from a Francophone when my high-school French fails me, and now it is available as a super useful free travel app in app stores across most devices. Awesome.

Award Wallet is an excellent travel app that tracks how many points that you have in all the various rewards programs that you’re a part of. No more rummaging for cards in your overstuffed wallet, this handy app has all your numbers, balances, and passwords in one neat place.

Pack Point is a cool little app that makes sure you pack the right stuff you’ll need for your trip, cleverly advising you by checking the weather etc at your destination, and not forget the essentials (and consequently spend the first two hours in a new city trying to find somewhere that sells deodorant or a belt – both missions I’ve wasted time on this year).

Clever travellers know that staying in one of our excellent Executive Suites by Roseman is one thing that always make traveling easier. If you’re heading to Winnipeg or Calgary for work or play in 2015, come check us out.
